Eurich MMA Academic Scholarship
Drivers, dock workers, mechanics, office personnel and other dedicated moving industry employees are among the thousands of people each day who contribute to a strong, efficient moving industry in Michigan.
Many of these workers are or have dependents who are pursuing studies toward a higher education. The Eurich Michigan Movers Academic Scholarship Fund (EMMA-ASF) provides financial assistance to Michigan Movers Association (MMA) member company employees or their dependents.
The Eurich Michigan Movers Academic Scholarship (EMMA-ASF) is funded by MMA financial reserves, consisting of dues and other financial resources as received from member movers for membership and other related activities. The ASF has been specifically structured to support higher education among moving family members who are part of the MMA. Applications are released in March, with scholarship awardees announced in early August.

Samantha Mosher
Samantha graduated from Traverse City West Senior High School and plans to attend Northwestern Michigan College this fall. She has an interest in digital graphic design and is interested in advertising. Samantha’s mother, Norma Ferry, is employed at Morse Moving & Storage in Traverse City.
Caleb J Valkner
Caleb is entering his final year at University of Michigan – Flint and will graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Caleb will begin his graduate school program and would like to perform medical research. Caleb is employed at Two Men And A Truck – Clarkston.
Elyse Strong
Elyse graduated from Allen Park High School this spring. She plans to study Spanish at Eastern Michigan University in the fall. Elyse’s mother, Karen Strong, is employed at Morse Moving & Storage Romulus.
Andre Edgertona
Andre graduated from Henry Ford II High School in Sterling Heights this spring. He plans to attend the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and study Engineering. Andre’s father, Phil Edgerton, is employed at White Star Movers in Shelby Township.
Brandon Finley
Brandon graduated from Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn this spring. He plans to attend Michigan Technological University and pursue degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Brandon’s mother, Stacy Denoyer, is employed at Morse Moving & Storage in Romulus.
